I keep my old drip coffeemaker around just as a back up, but I've used it so infrequently in the now more than two years I've had a Keurig that it's time I did donate it so that someone who needs a coffeemaker can make use of it.

Maybe I don't know enough about coffee, but my at home coffee has never tasted better to me, and I'm not a big fan of coffee shop coffee because all of them brew too strong for me to enjoy the drink.

So where do I begin with my experience with k cup coffee makers? A few years ago my son kept bugging me to think about getting one of these machines. He had seen it at his friends house and thought since I loved having coffee at different times of the day this might be a good idea. I had done some research when they first came out and wasn't to happy with what I read about keurig. And I refused to get stuck with a lemon. The cuisinart s 700 seemed to have somewhat better reviews. I didn't want to spend 200.00 plus tax on the machine alone, plus the k cups ..really? I was lucky and received a 25 percent off coupon from chef central so off I went. Well it lasted four years (how lucky was I) and I must admit I love the convenience of these machines. I didn't want another cuisinart (I'm still annoyed that things don't last) or heaven forbid I'd never waste money on keurig. By this time, if they had any inclination to fix the design of it they would have. So now more research. Decided on the bunn my cafe msu. A little inconvenient that you need to pour water for each cup you brew, but the water is 200 degrees and I love it. You can use tea bags, k cups, senso pods, loose coffee or tea or just plain water. I like all of the options. I only have it for a week or so, but I am very happy with it.

Mine died too after about 2 months - when I got it, it had water dripping out of it... I figured it must have been a return. Well, I obviously wasn't smarter than the previous owner (as I thought) - it died on me too. Got a Kitchen Aid from Costco and it has been great - one great cup at a time and uses regular coffee - no kcups to buy

I'm sorry for all the problems everyone has had with Keurig. I must have been lucky.

I'm still using the mini-Keurig from the test I participated in, however many years ago.

I bought a back-up a couple of years ago, but haven't had to use it yet.

I had a similar experience with Keurig. After my first one died, I waited a while to get an updated model. That one died after 6 months. I went back to using melitta cone.

I have no paper work on my Keurig which is beginning to go sour. I know it's been more than a year since I purchased it from the Q.

Could anyone please give me the number for Keurig so I can call them and see if I can get mine replaced? Thanks so very much !!!!

Have a blessed day.

I don't know what you mean by going sour, but Keurig.com has some tips/demonstrations on their website to help with descaling, cleaning needles, etc.

If you need to call them....

Call 7 days a week, 7 a.m. - 12 a.m. EST

Mine stopped working a few months ago.

I ran vinegar through it, cleaned the K-Cup holder, and wiped down the reservoir. There was scale built up on it from 5 years of use.

It runs like new now. I have it at work.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

LOL, no problem. Instead of questioning the shoddy merchandise, women are over the moon because Keurig readily (so farWink) replaces the units.

Or, as one poster said, when she asked the clerk at BB&B if she could return the Keurig she was buying if she had a problem with it, he said, "Sure. It'll die. They always do."
