While I do like her, I also think Regis was better able to balance her out and when he left she seemed to be trying too hard to host and turned everything into something about her. She has continued this with Michael. I like them together but I wished she would go back to the Kelly she was with Regis and not be so self centered. She is funny and quick witted but that part of her wanting to turn everything into something about her is off putting.

I'm watching it right now. I have always like Kelly, thought she was great with Regis, she brought fun and energy to the show when he was getting tired and was just a buzzkill. I do think some days she is over-animated, but she has to show up every day and her job is in front of millions of viewers, no matter what is going on in her life. She is human and has bad days, but she has to put on a smile just the same. I'm sure Kelly was aware of the Clipper scandal, but like others have said, it's not her place to create controversy. She and Michael have such a great relationship and rapport, and I would imagine they discuss some of the things they will be talking about in the opener. I think Kelly let Michael handle the story because he was a professional athlete, he is a sports commentator that is respected, and his voice carries weight. I didn't think she did anything wrong or make it about her, she just emphasized how sad the situation is and said it made her feel sick.... it is a very wrong situation when those players are viewed as nothing but chattel to that team owner, when those athletes are the ones that provide him the ability to have his lifestyle.

As for Nicole, I find her attitude pretentious and snobby, and while I don't know her, I think she and Michael make an odd coupling. He seems like such a nice guy, very relaxed and caring, and always giving his time to charities. I can understand wanting arm candy, but it is hard to imagine her hanging out with him in yoga pants on the couch watching football. I guess we never know what truly goes on in people's lives... they seem happy and in love, but strange they haven't married yet.

I was surprised Michael was with this Nicole. I am missing something, they don't feel like a match.

Before Kelly, people said the same thing about Kathie Lee. "All she talks about is Frank and her kids." Like Lotus mentioned, they're supposed to talk about themselves in the first 15 minutes of the show.

I used to really enjoy her, but over the last year or so, not so much.

It's interesting to see that it's not just me.

I can't put my finger on it, but she just seems to try too hard and it comes across as fake. I'd just like to see her relax a bit more. She seems to try too hard to be "funny" and she doesn't need to.

Ms Murphy has been engaged to Michael S for a long time. (talk about wondering whether or not they will ever marry) She's seems to enjoy being known as Eddie Murphy's former (cannot use ""ex"" next to Murphy's) as opposed to Michael S's present.

Over the years the tabloids have printed some ""interesting"" stories about her and her men.

I watch her in that reality show Hollywood Ex's and I figured it was time for her to move on from that already.

She is absolutely beautiful though.

She's a twit. She never could act on All My Children and she's a terrible host who was only a good fit with Regis because she took a backseat where she belongs.
