I think Kelly is very lacking in confidence and tries hard not to show it and to project just the opposite.

She seems to not be so bright on big events and worldly things. I think she has exercised her almost anorexic-looking body so much that her brain cells are dying out. But I've never been a fan, she's too vapid for me.

Ms Murphy has been engaged to Michael S for a long time. (talk about wondering whether or not they will ever marry) She's seems to enjoy being known as Eddie Murphy's former (cannot use "ex" next to Murphy's) as opposed to Michael S's present.

I completely agree with this, lulu2 (although I haven't read the tabloids as I tend to stay away from them). I thought Nicole Murphy seemed extremely obnoxious. I don't care for her at all.

I do, however, love Kelly. I think she does a great job. To the OP and others, if you don't like her, don't watch. Her name is in the show title so surely you will know not to bother. I think she gave that show a much needed boost all those years ago when she was signed on and to see her carry it on without Regis is quite impressive. I love Michael too and think they are a good match. I don't watch every day but I do catch it when I can, at least the host chat. Once that is over, I'm usually done as I'm not into the celebrity guests. But I enjoy their banter. They are supposed to talk about themselves and what they have been up to, etc., so I see nothing wrong with it.

Well ladies, you are all in the minority, "Live" has the best ratings now than ever! Kelly was put in a desperate position when Regis left. She pulled herself up by her purse strings and made the show a complete success! Simple solution for all of you complainers and haters, don't watch the show. Smile

I feel the reason that Live is doing well now is due to the popularity of Michael, not Kelly. He is very likeable and down to earth on the show. Kelly is lucky that a co-host was found who clicked with the viewers.

I for one have stopped watching it since the show is Kelly and Michael. She can not stop staring at herself in the monitor and it is all about her. I used to love her when she was on with Regis, but then she changed.

So I am one of those who don't watch!!

Race card? The whole issue is about race... hard not to play that card. I think Michael addressed the situation in a civil and responsible manner, and since he is a black athlete, he certainly has the right to speak out. Lots of athletes have also spoken... Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal... they are not only players, but owners and they have powerful voices. The whole situation IS about race, and it was shameful. When a team of players, that help make a person his lifestyle, are then dismissed because of the color of their skin.... they are good enough to help make this man uber rich, he just wouldn't have them at his table or have his picture taken with them? Shame on him.

I got disgusted with her some time back. She was so dirty-minded about everything. I use to watch her on All My Children and liked her then. I don't watch that show anymore.
