Kelly Ripa makes everything all about her

Ugh... Michael (her cohost) brought up the whole Clippers owner comment and she was just so ignorant of the whole thing. She said she heard a little about it last night. Then, after Michael had to fight her constant blabbing to get the story out and communicate how he felt, she had to end the segment with talking about how it made her feel. I just found her behavior over the whole thing very annoying. She's got such an easy job and is overpaid as far as I'm concerned.

Kelly has always stayed very neutral about anything controversial. I believe she knew about all of it and just played dumb....she was a soap actress and a lot of what she says and does on the show is acting. And her husband is a big sports fan, so pretending she knew little about it just seemed disingenuous.

Nicole Murphy (Michael's love) was just on. She was trying to tell this interesting story about her run-ins with Prince over the years and Kelly couldn't let her get the story out without once again bringing it back to herself. She's never annoyed me this much.

I think Regis was a better match for her because he reigned her in...she can be kind of manic at times and doesn't know when to keep quiet and let the guests speak. I never noticed that as much until Michael hosted with her.

Yes, ITA. She is shockingly unprepared every day. Maybe that's part of her schtick. But the woman just wakes up, rolls in, looks at a few articles/stories her staff have pulled out for her and then speaks extemporaneously for about 17 minutes until the prize drawing. She then relates everything back to herself in any subsequent interviews/segments. She's got the easiest job.

How much do you think she's paid? I'm guessing about 5 million a year.
