Yes I remember when the calls were a dime. I can't believe it!  And a phone book too?  I mean do they even have them anymore. I remember having to pull over find a phone to call someone I would be late, or get directions

I saw phone booths last March when I vacationed in Scotland, the phone booths were pretty cool looking also.  My daughter took a picture in one of them.

I have seen phone booths that you can swipe a credit or debit card to make a telephone call.

This is hilarious.  The young teens seem mesmerized by such a foreign object.

We somehow made it without cell phones but could always count on the trusty phone booth on those long road trips of yore.

@SaveTheTurtles When I first started dating in 1968 my mom always gave me several dimes (along with $5.00) to keep in my handbag--just in case. Luckily, they were never needed!
