I doubt there is such a thing. We just have to appreciate and enjoy what we do have.

It breaks my heart to read of anyone's suicide.

Oh, how awful.  Blessings on her bereaved family--  their pain must be incalculable.

I used to get really angry when I heard someone committing suicide,

proclaiming them ‘weak’, ‘selfish’...maybe I said that because 

it scared me.  Today? Older, wiser, more emphatic me feels

for them.   

There’s a scene in the movie ‘Crimes of the Heart’ where sums it 

up the best.  The Sissy Spacek character tries to commit suicide &

her sister comes to her aid:

Meg Magrath:  Why'd you do it, Babe ? Why'd you put your head in the oven?

Babe:   I don't know ... I'm having a bad day.

I really do think many have ‘highly functioning’ depression...

walking that tightrope...and all it takes is just ‘having a bad day.’

This news really saddened me, and I do not really know much about her until today other than that she was in fashion.  So young....with a young  13 year old daughter and husband....to be so talented, and have made such an impact on the world of fashion.....to be so lovely....and people spoke so highly of her....

and yet, she was so sad, unhappy and depressed(?) .....to take her own life.... no intervention....no help.....how could this be?  

So sad for her family. Her child , her Husband....her close friends....so many people affected by this one personal action taken by her.  

To end her life. 🙁

Wow, I am shocked to read this. My heart goes out to her family, especially her daughter. It's hard to imagine someone in that frame of mind who doesn't think of their kids before they take that final step.
