My how perceptions differ (and, since we don't know these people they are only perceptions of course). I don't perceive Kate reeking of arrogance or entitlement at all.

I think that scorn can be distributed to the royals in an egalitarian manner.  I mean, Katie gets off so lightly on these boards, doesn't she?

This is, after all, the United States and I'm not one of her subjects.

@Johnnyeager. There was no need to mention MM on a thread about Kate, and your second post leads me to think you are trying to take this thread in a direction that will get it closed.

But I disagree!  The thread postings have encompassed "the royal family" and the Queen was also mentioned.  So anyone in that family is fair game for mention.

The royals are fine I guess and fun to watch, but the fascination with their daily moves (especially how Kate and Meghan look and what they are wearing) are kind of weird IMO. I think they are nice people, but I feel they are being put on a pedestal that they don't really deserve and mostly because they are privileged, rich, and pretty, and their personal lives are full of scandal. It's like reality TV I suppose.

I guess I admire people who take a little more risk and speak out more about important issues. People who are contributing more to society than eye candy and tourism dollars.

I think it does have a lot to do with looks including race. Yeah, I said it. Kate is worshipped on this board (it's weird), and Meghan is treated as if she doesn't deserve to be a part of the royal family. Anyone who thinks the world is colorblind and that having a POC as a royal in the British monarchy doesn't factor into a lot of people's prejudices, is in denial. The whole idea behind "royal" bloodlines is racist at its root.
