@Kalli I hope all tests come back great and you're way to recovery...haven't read through the entire thread.
I agree that if someone doesn't call first, I don't open the door pjs or evening gown.
I think maybe they did contact you in the emails and with no response they checked on you to see if you were OK.
I will add that our financial planner checks in every other month to see if anything has changed with our "budget" or want to invest differently. He also comes with an updated report on our financial standing which is much appreciated. BTW, he does call first and set up a time when we can both meet...usually over lunch and his treat!
***I'm clueless with money. investments and he has my trust left by my folks, so I trust him to give me monthly statements, too and explain everything. He was my folks' planner as well.
DH is a CFP, but I wanted an outside firm to handle MY money.

So sorry that you are exe\periencing all of this. Prayers for you.

@RetRN, I do not answer my door. The times we are living in we never know who is at the door. I do not just drop in on people. Can't you just call on phone?

I understand you wanting to vent, as I have been on the same journey. Unfortunetly, I don't think everyone understands how overwhelmed you are feeling trying to deal with all you are going through. My own experience, I find it difficult to truly concentrate and make good decisions. Also, I'm sure you are feeling tired.
I'm sorry you had to experience that. I would check with his employer to find out if it was legit. Prayers that you receive good test results, and for comfort and strength. Blessings for you for the upcoming Holiday Season.

I'm sorry for all that you're going through.
Perhaps, he was concerned with all the unanswered emails and was simply checking on you?

I can understand her not replying. Even the smallest of things can be too much to even think of doing when you're that sick. I let so much slide when getting over my heart surgery. Bless their hearts, everyone I had to contact and explain (when I was able) understood and forgave any late fees or pkgs that had not been returned on time.

Wishing you the best and a positive outcome in the next few weeks @Kalli .
I would not have answered the door. Maybe the company was concerned about you since they haven't heard from you.

Thank you everyone for your understanding comments and for your very positive support of me through this challenging time! Your kind words mean the world to me! ❤️❤️❤️
I did receive an apology from the company. That was nice. I'm putting the incident behind me. Staying hopeful about good news from my upcoming tests and hoping to move forward now.
