Do you find they enhance/improve or distract from the wearer's appearance?

Distract. I don’t want anything that does not look natural on my face.

At least around here, women have them looking like caterpillars on their eyes.  Completely ridiculous.

My girl friend has them....hers are short, very natural looking.

I have to ask her about how they 'wear' and if she uses mascara as well.

She is 2 years older than I am so I know what happens to lashes and brows as we age....and the only thing I noticed that she had more lashes than normal..so I knew they were faux.

I remember wearing faux eyelashes in the 70s when false eyelashes took on a more natural look.  The eyelash style at the time was all about being understated and natural looking.

Now, it seems the trend is all about extra long, thick and  curled false eyelashes which, in my opinion, is neither attractive or becoming.

I certainly know that they are fake when I see them on someone. Good or bad---meh--I don't care . I do have  short, stubby lashes from going thru strong chemo-- and that was 12 years ago--but yesterday-- I had an especially good lashes day Woman Wink--don't wear mascara much but for some reason, the lash planets and stars aligned, actually looked like normal lashes!!!

I have a couple sets of fake lashes to play with------kind of fun!

I am not a fan of the look.

I wear them occasionally - at special functions, events, etc.  I'm glad they've been trending and a lot of women look great.

Just like anything else - not everyone looks good in everything.

@wagirl what false lash brand are you finding easy to work with?

@San Antonio Gal I can't find any pair that is easy to apply.  I wore extensions for years and gave it up because they were irritating my eyes plus thinned my own lashes.  Looking for self adhesive one.
