Re: Just for Fun...What you'd do for a job

At this time, to sustain a living, I'd be a UPS / Amazon / Fed X / Grub Hub driver. Job security.

I'm happy with my career. Higher education for 35 years - 5 of those years taught college business courses.

While prepping for a magical adulting life, I entertained thoughts of working in travel industry, as I grew up with dad who retired from TWA Airlines. Also wanted to have a career in education. Interesting that one daughter works for major airlines while another is a special ed teacher.

My other career interests that I didn't pursue were graphic design, dental hygenist, counselor. Happy with career choice. I know I'm not wealthy, because I do pay taxes, but have a comfortable and fulfilled life. Thankful.

I would go with Attorney General or Speaker of the House.

@LizzieInSRQ  I love that show! You really do learn a lot, laugh a lot....he is very entertaining.

(lol and no worries, I hadn't heard of Boudica either)

I will probably go back and rewatch some of the earlier seasons while in isolation.

Re: Just for Fun...What you'd do for a job

Actually thought of a possibly successful career these days - Florist.

People will be increasingly declining invitations to large gatherings, or not wanting to fly out of state to visit relatives for special occasions, etc.  So send flowers with a conciliatory note.

Of course, that depends on IF one can get out-of-season flowers from other countries...

As far as dream jobs for my talents:

1.  Professional Goofball

2.  Chef for people with no tastebuds

3.  Cat Lap Sitter Extraordinaire (have references)

Re: Just for Fun...What you'd do for a job

@LizzieInSRQ   I think I have ‘done’ my three during my lifetime:

Graduated London School Economics worked as economist at Stanford

Worked in DH business  worked /toured in the rock n roll world.

Obtained my Nursing degree nursed in psychiatric/Aids hospitals/clinics.

So if I had to opt for one Nursing every time.  No other ambitions.

I would be a roadie for Sir Paul McCartney ❤since he is still touring. For free, as a volunteer!
"Here is the guitar you used on the Ed Sulivan show to sing Yesterday."

(He still uses that one when he sings Yesterday in concert, as he has mentioned to us in the audience). My dream job!
