If you had all the talent and opportunity, and best chances of success what do you want/What did you want to do for a living? My top three would've been:

  • Back up singer for some of the greatest bands and solo artists on earth like The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Trisha Yearwood etc.
  • Archeologist
  • Candy Store Owner

WOW @LizzieInSRQ . Those three ambitions are so different from eachother!!! Do you have talents now to achieve just one?

Not a one! These are my fantasy jobs. I could run a candy store as I do know  retail from my distant past. I was thinking how Candy stores makes folks happy, how very little issues it has  (in case electric goes out or stock dowsnt come in, who cares? Lol...outside of not making money .

I rarely post my own posts but wanted to help with others anxiety 😁 thanks for playing, Dr. Shanus!!

1. Fighter pilot. I pursued an appointment to one of the service academies only to be told that women didn't/wouldn't get near combat aircraft. I wasn't interested in flying a cargo plane so I dropped it. This was in the early days of women being allowed into the academies.

2. Portfolio manager. After a career spent in corporate finance for a pharma company, I went into institutional investing. Portfolio/fund management fascinated me, but I was at the end of my career and it's a grueling climb up the ladder.

3. Professional athlete - probably either golf or tennis.
