We sit on opposing sides of the booth.  If possible, we always request a booth.  It's more cozy, comfortable and a bit more private.  I also like that you can see each other better to talk and also are not crowing each other.

Opposite.  We also prefer a booth.

Hey @monicakm  sorry, @LavernLuvsShoes  and I have a personal joke for some years now on the other place.  She's a wonderful cook and we have the same taste in meals.  She cooked them and we eat out so I described my next day luncheon leftovers to her. Lavern made me hungry.  She was proud of me as I made a fresh dinner once a week, lunches too

of some sort.  It was always filet mignon, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes.  Smiley Happy
