@Jordan2   I'm late reading the boards but wishing you a Happy and blessed birthday! I'm sure your mom is looking down on her beautiful baby and smiling.  I know the feeling of missing your mom because I lost my mom to covid in April of 2020. She was also my best friend. God Bless !

@Jordan2   I’m so sorry I missed this post.  Happy belated birthday!  Your mom would want you to have joy on your birthday.  Try to think of the happy memories with her, and the cherished days she made your birthdays special and fun!  My mom is gone 22 years this year, I promise you it can get easier.  Not easy by any means, but time can heal, and time can make those tender memories turn into smiles instead of just sadness.   At least it has for me.  Now I celebrate my mom on my birthday and her birthday.

@Kachina624    I love this birthday story!  Those young men were so kind and made your day.  How nice.  Happy belated birthday!
