Being curious about her life in general, I went to WIki and read up on her. Very interesting professional life but what I enjoyed reading most was about her life as a mother. Seems she was a success in that arena as well
Mangano is the single mother of three children: Christie, Bobby, and Jackie Miranne. Christie Miranne graduated with honors from Providence College and is an executive at Mangano's company, Ingenious Designs. Bobby Miranne graduated from Columbia Law School and works at a law firm in New York. Jackie Miranne attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and now models and runs the site JackieAtHome.com. She was a regular model on season 4 of Project Runway, and has appeared in Cosmopolitan, Allure, and Elle as well as modeled for Patricia Field, Valentino, Missoni, Vivienne Tam, and Moschino. She has been featured in ad campaigns for TRESemmé, Levi’s, and L’Oréal.
About her family, Mangano has said, "Being a mom has influenced every single moment of my life. There isn't anything I'm prouder of."She credits her children for her achievements, saying, "Nothing could be possible without my three children, and the support they gave me, and the grounding that they gave me as I grew and achieved more success."

I LOVE those huggable hangers! I have no idea if she invented the concept or simply improved on an existing product. I never heard of that mop she invented. I guess we should be congratulating that new mop (the one that spins?)
There are so many products by Joy, but QVC copes them with Lori. Or is it the other way?

I love her readers, it's good to hear her children are stable and well-grounded adults.

I wonder why they are doing a movie? Many woman have done these things. I won't be watching until it comes on tv and maybe not then.

love many of her products-do not waste your time and money buying the forever fragrant she's selling today-bought them and they did not work at all.

MinkBunny - Not sparring with you here. But the accomplishment of Joy's children are not really that impressive as that IS WHAT A MOM IS FOR AND WHAT PARENTS ARE OBLIGATED TO DO. Raise and educate their children and pay for that education. If she earned the money to put them through the education systems, she was doing what a parent is supposed to do. I had neighbors who put all their children though schools and universities and they are all working professionals but where's the thread on those successful people. In my opinion, Joy didn't do anything more special that a lot of parents. Single or not.

But there's no guarantee that your "duty" will turn out to be a genuinely good person. And these three young adults seem like they are. Props to her.
