In case nobody knows...that Joy. Mangano. She was famous for inventing something called the Miracle Mop. Something I never even heard of. I thought she invented HSN. Anyway it will be a movie starring Jennifer Lawrence as Joy. Due to be released either late this year or early next year.

Well there had better be some juicy scenes or dirt on Joy to make this movie sizzle... otherwise BORINGzzzZZZzzZZZzzz. Dog faced Joy looks nothing like Jennifer Lawrence... I see NO comparison.

I am all for females being successful in business..........but a mop. Is that all a gal is supposed to know and do? Then the hangers of course and food storage and food transportation items. Items that females use for housework and being just wives. I did purchase a purse but sent it back (years ago) because the quality was just not there. I don't buy her items and don't watch her shows.

I remember, years ago when she was on QVC, her story about ending up a single mother with three (or some large number of) kids and going for it as an 'inventor' of merchandise. She really made things happen for herself. She had those Roly Kits back then, IIRC.

She was not at all obnoxious back then. I cannot say whether I'd watch the movie or not. Maybe on tv.

Yeah, I've heard that the quality of her merchandise has fallen steeply in the past several years. I remember the luggage she came out with at hsn - I guess it was just purely wretched. I've heard really bad reviews on many of her items in recent years.
