@PA Mom-mom wrote:@qvcaddition Agreed! Joe M. is handsome with his silver hair. My DH is a silver fox as well; the men in his family tend to retain a full head of hair as they age, and they turn a beautiful shade of gray.
I also enjoyed the concert last night and certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great remembrance experience. The only sticking point for me has always been the way they introduce the performers. "Two-time Grammy winner." "Golden Globe winner." "Platinum record award winner." Can't they just say their names? If we want to know more about them, w,e can look them up. The service heroes are supposed to be in the spotlight.
I agree. I never heard of some of them. I missed the top opera singers from Broadway, they had in years pass.
The ladies in your family are so lucky with the Silver Foxes.
My boys are going bald, in their mid 60's. They don't shave their heads, trying to hang on to what they have.
your men are very handsome. My boys are.
Yes, I still look at handsome men. There is still fire in this old, (age wise) broad.

I know. I have/had family and friends in the wars too.
As a parent I just feel so sad for those especially who have lost their sons and daughters, standing there.
And also for those who came back and have such a hell of a time with life.
I wish none of them had gone at all.
Many wars were fought for other countries freedom.
I had a friend who had horrible nightmares every night. He told me what he went through. So I do know some of the horrors.
My son too, almost losing his life twice.
I don't need reminding.
And not everyone in our country is free.
I'm sorry, I too have a lot of sadness about it all.

No I have met him a few times. He is not bad, but not a Silver Fox, IMO.

I am so very sorry. I feel bad because of the world we live in today, but it still is better than others. Yes, we fought for other countries. WW11 was, if I remember to fight for this country.

I thought Joe Mantegna has aged beautifully. His Silver hair and beard makes his look so handsome.
I also think S.Epatha Merkerson is wonderful. Have liked program I have seen she has done.
I hope I didn't offend anyone by posting this comment.

I agree about S. Epatha Merkeson; she's aged beautifully.
Joe Mantegna: ever since I saw him in The Three Amigos! I just can't take him seriously,

@spumoni99 wrote:He is handsome @qvcaddition and good for you at 86 checking out the men! We have a guy that does some tractor work for us, he is 71 but has a full head of hair and looks very youthful, I was telling him yesterday and he said being in the tractor vibrating around keeps him young, I thought that was funny but I guess its like a big vibrating chairl
That is funny and a good joke on his part. People I know, like neighbors and some of my medical Drs. have been telling me how good I look. Not bragging, just commening.
I think because, I still wear light makeup, dress nice everyday, except when trimming my 17 bushes, started yesterday. Also, I have my hair dyed and exercise. I also try to find something everyday to be happy about, and don't speak negative when I am talking to people. No gossip.
I'm just happy to be alive at this age. Everyday is a blessing for me, no matter what troubles come my way. I am lucky to have great health.
Just had a CT on head, and got results Friday night and from my Dr. yesterday and she said, everything great. Fortunate. I think all the 65+ years of exercise and vit.
I also take, AL collagen.
I look in my late 60's, early 70's, I'm told. Now that is bragging.
Sorry. I get carried away on the post, because I live alone and talk more on here, than with family.
Good for you and I am sure you keeping active and taking care of yourself attributes to your health and young looks. I quite working out during covid and oh my! I am 62 but feel 90 some days. I need to start working out and lose some weight. You will be my inspiration.
Oh, please do. I have a gym equipment and an exercise room, one of the bedrooms turned into one. I was able to continue working out. You don't need a big room. Just some weights and a DVD. Also, a lot of channels have classes on zoom.
I quit the gym during covid and don't need to go back. Can do at home. Have a treadmill, bike, DVD's and a routine.
Start in morning, easier. Start now and let me know how you are doing. You will feel better. Working out is good, but cutting calories is what really helps.

@qvcaddition What is AL collagen?
I drink bone broth which has collagen protein but may want to take a supplement. TIA
Andrew Lessman. I take a lot of his supplements all day long.

Thank you @qvcaddition,
for your kind reply and you are right there are countries much worse off than ours. And yes about WW11.
I know many of our parents fought in that war to save our lives.
