Wonderful news for the economy. Also yesterday tons of the food vendors who come every September to our annual big fair set up through Sunday of this weekend in our city. They have suffered so during the shutdown. So corndogs, funnel cakes, and turkey legs ect..... all weekend!! Gives them a little cash and us a preview to late Sept.

I think most were people being called back as States started opening. Yet it is very good news that things are moving forward.

Think that is a great idea. So many of these vendors have had their fairs and carnival cancelled. A lot of college students work these all summer to pay for school.

Good news! Something positive for a change!
I went out this morning to get a birthday gift. Non-essential stores were FINALLY allowed to open today and I was the first in a small local boutique this morning. The owner was so happy to be open again!
I hope things start looking up for the country!

Great News.Incredible jobs report crushes predictions.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday said US employers added 2.5 million payrolls in May, a shocking figure that defied economists' expectations of 7.5 million jobs lost.
The US unemployment rate declined to 13.3% in May, bucking forecasts of a near-record 19% reading.
"Today's data suggests that the US economy is more resilient than expected," said Seema Shah, the chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. "Certainly the initial signs suggest that the reopening of economies has already started to heal the labor market."

Great to see that employees are being called back to their jobs. I hope they are full-time positions.

The big question is are they good paying jobs? Can people pay their bills without working 2 or 3 jobs?
