So very, very heartbreaking. Joan had the energy of a teenager. Also, very quick-minded, ambitious, and hard-working. Many people who work in various hotels are saying that Joan was very appreciative and kind toward them. I just cannot believe that this has happened. A real tragedy. Blessings sent to Melissa, Cooper, family, friends, co-workers, and all of the nice people Joan knew and was often in contact with. I'll never forget Joan and her presence on QVC.

I just watched a clip from a Larry king show,she said she was very angry with her husband when she sees him in Heaven she's gonna kill him, that's Joan!

CNN is reporting on her right now.

She was a fearless lady who never backed down from anything.

Saw this sad news while watching FOX News. So very sad. She will be missed. Prayers to her family.

I was watching CNN when this was announced and shortly after they had a friend of Joan's on air...phone call in to the show....he said just the night before her procedure she was doing a show and finished that up and met him for dinner at midnight. The host asked what they talked about and he just said everything like friends do but all with humor.

After a few minutes I thought to myself....she was eating a meal after midnight? Now I am wondering if this may have been the cause of a complication for her. I know your supposed to stop ALL food and liquids before midnight. They even ask you many times when was the last time you drank or ate anything.

I am so sorry to hear that. I was hoping she would pull through and have a few more good years. Prayers to her family.
