Believe it or not - I don't talk much at all.    ha!  I'm also extremely private.   None of that probably makes sense.  But sometimes, and like I said yesterday at some point, maybe something doesn't need to be said, but sometimes you just need to say it.

I hope everybody is having some smiles.  i know it's probably the smiles that keep me going.  Whether it's watching something on tv, or taking care of my boys (puppy & birdie boy), or watching the birdies outside who are just so cute it almost hurts, I try to appreciate those smiles.

I remember when I had my psychologist one (of many) valuable things she told me - nobody is happy ALL the time, but you have to recognize and appreciate the moments of happiness that you have.  I try to keep that in mind as often as possible.  

So often, I really still feel like I'm not keeping my head above water and some of the things she told me have helped keep me out of the hole.  It's a lot easier if you can stay out of the hole.  Once you drop down, it's not only harder to get out, but it feels so familiar and easy that it's just easier to stay there.

Hugs and applause to all you strong ladies for sharing your stories - if it gets through to one person, it's worth it.

@ chickenbutt: I admire your bravery and honesty more than words can convey. If you reach and help one person, then your story is worth sharing. I am sorry for your suffering, no child should ever have to go through what you did. It is amazing that you find joy in life.
