I remember him from Dancing with the Stars and got a completely different vibe from him than from his TV show.  I believe he was mayor  once.

Wow, I didn't even know he was ill.  I wasn't a fan but I'm sure he'll he be missed by those who were.  He was one of a kind, that's for sure.

Wow. I didn't know he was sick.. Haven't seen or heard about him in a long time..I remember him being on DWTS. He seemed like a nice man! RIP!

He was mayor of Cincinnati in the 70's.

Like his show formats or not, Mr. Springer and his production company fell into a formula of brash TV fare that garnered a massive audience in syndication for nearly 30 years.  

He came a long way from being the mayor of Cincinnati.

Sad to see him go but his TV show wasn't very good.  At least we still have Maury Povich.

He was definitely a pre-internet generation's version of viral TikTok, that's for sure. 

 

I hope St. Peter did a few fist pumps when opening up the gates.

 

I didn't waste my time, but mad respect for anyone who can stay that relevant for so long, especially in entertainment.
