@conlt, thanks for the tip.  I had already considered an endocrinologist but haven't taken the step yet.  I don't need a referral since I have Plan F.  I'm not near Florida so I'll have to navigate on my own.  I'm 75....might be too old for it and my A1C is 6....really borderline.  But even if my A1C goes down, the weight will still be there, most likely.
