I'm so sorry to see Jacquie leave. I've always liked her. As someone pointed out, she has changed in the last few years from when she first started. I can't quite pinpoint what it is, but it was something. I've always got a vibe from her that she's an extremely sensitive person (maybe too sensitive?). Anyway, I thought she was a good host and best of luck to her.

I don't get these bad vibes from Jacque but some of these posts!

I'm sorry to hear Jacque is leaving. I thought she was a good host and so pretty.I wish her the best in whatever she chooses to do. I can think of a few other hosts I would rather see go.

I worked 30+ years for one of the largest electroic firms in the US. before retiring, I saw people go this very same way. Each company has their own way of saying [good bye]. Don't jump to conclusions just now. More will come out if they want it known.

I liked watching Jacque whenever she was on late with Kirks Folly. She told of watching Kirks Folly at home on QVC way before she ever joined.
Always came across genuine. Best of luck to her.

@CareBears wrote:@Moonchilde This is exactly what happened to my husband, 17 years with a company, he was up for a raise, 2 more weeks vacation, and BOOM he was gone, escorted out by his supervisor, we heard through a fellow co-worker they replaced him with 2 part time employees that make less than half what he did, and they did not have to pay them benefits or vacation, now it seems it is all about the bottom line, people are disposable at any level.
My son started at 18 and was let go at 50, same company throughout. A blessing for him, making a lot more money at New company and better position. The old company outsourced to YOU KNOW WHERE. Now people have a heck of a time with their service.

@spabar I believe her mother lives in NM, I think it is another relative in Alaska. Jacque was off a lot last year for medical reasons, not sure of all the particulars, but her DH that use to work for the Q (that is how they met) had to quit because of medical reasons, and her daughter has certain challenges. I wish her the best!
@Hooty Her sister lives in Alaska, and her mother moved there, too. She is in an Alzheimers facility up there.
I don't recall her daughter having any challenges.

Didn't realize Peyton Kelley was gone. Hopefully, it was HIS decision.
Jackie has tolerated PA for so long. Perhaps she's returned to her beloved NM and it's fabulous culture. Whatever the reason for her departure, I wish her well and know she will continue to live her life with dignity and grace.
Imagine working as a show host was long, tedious and boring. She's much too intelligent to spend a life-time doing that! I'd guess she left on her own terms. ![]()
