If they keep up the bad service they are doing now,I'm sure they will go out of business.

QVC has some sales too.
Lunchtime specials
Primetime Specials
One Day Only pricing
Just reduced etc.
I shop the daily specials and have gotten fantastic markdowns. Better quality on some and prices as low as Walmart. As high as 57% off recently.
I put things in my Wish List and watch the prices. At times, they go on sale unexpectedly and sometimes for one or two days only.
I had a large area rug I loved in my Wish List. One day, it went down $25 and the shipping was free on that item. Wasn't even a free shipping day.
I will continue to shop here as long as it works for me.

It's going to come to the point that they can't afford NOT to.
@Mominohio Yes, they can always raise prices to cover it. One way or another, we'll pay.

I have been shopping with QVC since 1987 - have purchased many many items over the years.
Never ever had one problem with placing the order, paying for the order or the delivery of the item.
Made several purchases during this pandemic and, again, had no problem with any of them.
I will be shoping here after this pandemic is over. Maybe I just don't sweat the small things, because none of these problems are earth-shattering.

I know that too well. I just put a WEN gallon in my cart. $27.47 shipping, so QVC makes a butt-load in shipping off of HI & AK customers. Good thing I love my WEN!
just curious......how much does it cost if you order it directly from the CD website?

You are right. Free shipping is never really free. But should be close to free when you order a lot either by volume or by total price. Trying to order six or seven things here adds up to enough to buy another (or two) products. I just never can make myself hit the place order button when I see the shipping total for multiple items from here.

Oh boy... It's fine to defend QVC or any other retailer if that's your choice, but for me their shipping is often a deal breaker and frankly, folks can wax eloquent that free shipping means higher prices, and all I can say is that when I see the same item at the same or a lower price elsewhere and with free shipping, then I'm saving money to buy it there... As for their day and night 'specials', I'm sorry but again, for me, I don't often seen much of interest and when I do, they so often spoil the treat by, once again, charging sometimes high shipping... I'd also note that charging shipping by the item rather than for the order is just plain highway robbery and if that's how they balance their books then yes, I think sooner or later it's going to come back to haunt them... Those who put QVC on the map aren't going to be around forever... Overall, QVC does not, in my opinion, offer many bargains and often, not even competitive prices... I'd also note their return policy is no longer anything special... Virtually all retailers offer at least a 30 day return policy... It's been a long time since QVC did anything really ground breaking and I suspect it'l be a longer while before they do again...
