You didn't see that as racist?

Wow!

@Pqfan

I know!   Says more about the poster than anything.

This wasn't a 'lose patience' thing.

I can't imagine all the nasty language & actions that was spewed before filming began. What an idiot. Can you imagine living/working with this icky person?

'She may not be the racist labeled'..ah, yeah. She's not doing a very good job of NOT suggesting she's a racist.

'She may donate (blah, blah)...'. Doesn't matter. Yep. Still a racist.

@QVCkitty1...Who are "these people"?...It was one woman's racist rant and bullying toward another, so it only spoke as to the character, or I should say lack of...as to that one woman.

I was also shocked that no one said anything...She, apparently, was enjoying herself more and more, due to the fact that she kept looking around at others in line so took it upon herself that they were agreeing with her...There comes a time when we all have to do our part to speak up and support each other during such ugliness towards anyone.

I can only speak for myself and there is no way that I would have been able to just stand there without saying something....A security guard should have been called and told her to shut up her mouth or else she would have to be escorted out of the store.

@MyShadowLove@What I meant by "those people ", are the people I see in the news every day, who seem to take pride in their racist beliefs. If I sounded contemptuous, it is because  I'm, and I make no apologies for it.

@QVCkitty1....The OP's thread is referring to one particular incident/person and you chose to reference "these people"....As far as your statement... "the people that you see in the news every day, who seem to take pride in their racist beliefs"....that is really covering a very broad spectrum of the population of various races and personal beliefs and agendas.

So, I'm still not clear on which "these people" you are referring to...I was just asking for some clarification so I could understand better...However, I don't want to take this thread off-topic from that which it was intended, so it is better to leave you with your own personal agenda.

Amazing that no one spoke up to the racist, out of control woman.

Even more amazing is that anyone here would defend her behavior and try and excuse it.

I saw this several days ago, my first thought is why did no body stand up to that women, just goes to show you how many cowards there are.

That woman is appalling to say the least.   A normal person would have complained about the line cutting and left it at that.   It's not the end of the world when a friend joins the person they're shopping with.

It looks like they've id'd her and banned appropriately. Kind of makes you ill, I hope someone in her family chastizes her at least.

I would not have said anything either. Too many nut jobs with guns. You don't know what might happen if you speak up.

Best thing to do is probably leave so you don't caught up in an escalating situation.

ITA the lady should not be cutting in line. Lines are long this time of year. Since the cashier had to of known there was a situation with her cutting in line he should have told her she had to get in line with the rest of the customers. If I was the cashier that's what I would have done.

I don't think it is ever acceptable to cut a line, that being said that woman was out of line in her comments and is definitely a racist in my book. That women was saying things, that she had no knowledge were true. I also think it's up to the cashier to tell the woman, I'm sorry, the line starts in the back, so the customer is not put in the position of having to say something.

Re: JC Penney Customer Racist Rant

People feel they now have gotten a mandate to say whatever ugly disgusting things they please. Someone should have stepped up & told her to shut up.
