@Jordan2  Are they like the Pinwheel cookies made by Nabisco?

@Trailrun23  and @Puzzle Piece   You are right @Trailrun23  In my post I was thinking of Whoppie Pies.  Not even sure what a moon pie is.

@Bookplate I'm in CT and our local Shop Rite will always have a coupon sale on them.  Cost is usually $2 or less, but with inflation hitting  everything they'll probably be more.

ETA Just got next week's Shop Rite ad and there's a 2 @ $4 coupon for the Mallowmars.  Wish FIL was still with us.  I'd get some for him.

It's time for one of my favorite cookies, it's Mallomars season! My store will have them starting Friday 2/$4.00. I know some of you don't know about them, but they're so good, marshmallow covered with chocolate sitting on top of a thin cookie.

@Jordan2   Yes, I've seen them, but didn't know they had a season....

@yamma024 they are similar to Pinwheels, Pinwheels are larger. Do they still make Pinwheels, I don't look for them so I haven't noticed?
