I love "pay it forward stories."  Now if only the OP could be kind with comments on here consistantly I would be equally impressed.  All of us can learn from other's good examples.

@Moonchilde I agree with what you said ...the right situation needs to come up.I feel kind of shy about offering to pay for a person that doesn't know me.What if they are offended?

I did not see the post about the OP supposedly bragging. I'm glad I didn't. @Plaid Pants2 is the real deal, tell it like it is poster who was just sharing a feel good experience. Smiley Happy

Some of the posts in this thread are a perfect example of one of the main problems/issues with the QVC forums.

Some people do not, and cannot, deal only with individual threads. They must throw rocks at posters whose POV or posts or personality they don’t like, everywhere they post whatever they post about. It’s passive-aggressive bullying from posters who scream loud and long about bullying and mean girls. Other people are nasty, but they never say nasty things. Riiiight.

So someone doesn’t like what so-and-so said about X, or what they replied to them in thread Y.  But in thread Q, someone will come in just to blow their nose personally on what someone said that has nothing to do with any other thread and only marginally has to do with the topic - it’s posted solely for the purpose of passive-aggressively saying “I don’t like you”, apropos of nothing. It’s a b***h slap of that person just because a poster wants to, likes doing it, and feels good about doing it. When they do it, it’s for all the “right reasons.” Bwahaha!

And many who do this set themselves up as “Nice People” who decry and bemoan the “meanness” they see in others - while practicing it themselves under the guise of righteous vigilante-ism. Ugh.

Leave whatever it is in the thread it was in. Don’t carry it on your shoulders and then toss it into the ring every time you see that person’s name. Take everyone’s posts one thread, one post at a time; many will surprise you if you get off their back. OTOH, if you can’t wait to get up there every time they appear, you are perpetuating the very feelings and actions you scorn in others, AND create feuds where there doesn’t need to be one.

Yes, it was just a sandwich, but I'm sure that kind gesture made his day. It's the small things in life that mean so much. Thank you for doing this.
