Re: It Looks Like The Interview May be Released After All

I'm nervous about some nut who might try to do something at the theater to make a statement, though. I'm sure theater owners will be taking extra precautions to ensure everyone's safety (I hope!)

George R. R. Martin (Game of Thrones) owns a small theater in Santa Fe and says it will be shown there.

Re: It Looks Like The Interview May be Released After All

It's coming to Phoenix on 12/25 at an independent theater.

I think that is fine, but I'm not interested in those kind of comedies. All the reviewers have not given it a very good review.

It was a good idea to release it and not be told what to do by another country. However, I do feel that making a movie about a current leader's assasination is not a real proper thing to do. But, I'll wait and hear more reviews before passing judgement.

Even if it were free I wouldn't see it. It looks dumb and there are enough time wasting TV programs pick from.

Playing near me on Christmas - I think the nearest theater is a drive-in. I didn't even realize there were any of those left anywhere! 7 pm showing- won't even interfere with Christmas dinners for the most part.

Re: It Looks Like The Interview May be Released After All

My local movie theater already checks purses before we can enter the movie auditoriums. The ""guard"" is about 80 years old and walks like Tim Conway's ""old man.""

What will they do now? Check our underwear and bodily crevices?

This has become a new world with new rules and a new normal.

I find it so sad.

I'd rather spend my $$ on seeing a more worthy of my time movie-- like Night at the Museum or The Imitation Game or Unbroken.

Not interested, don't care. I don't like Kim Jong Un, but I have no desire to watch a film where he is the object of assassination. Bad Karma.

It probably was going to be a box office flop anyway. This is the ONLY publicity this movie got.
