I would be a bit hesitant to see it in a theater, but wouldn't have a problem with On Demand or Netflix. I hope they have law enforcement doing searches of everyone buying tickets to see this.

Two theaters, in Atlanta and in Austin, Texas, said on Twitter that they had agreed to show the film, which is a comedy about an assassination plot against the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. It's widely believed that a cyberattack against Sony Pictures last month was partly due to North Korea's fury over the movie.
Sony may also release the controversial Seth Rogen comedy through a video-on-demand service.

The subject matter doesn't appeal to me in the least.

If they really wanted to make a statement on the matter, they should show it for free.

I wonder if people will go to see it. I don't like going to the movies anymore. Sitting in the dark with strangers makes me nervous.

If it was playing near me, I would go see it (just because!).
Right now, it's only playing in a very few theaters. It may not make very much. If it does well in the limited release, however, it certainly will expand I would imagine.

Of course it will be released now. It will make ten times the money it would have made before it was hacked. There's no way they would not take advantage of that.
