Re: Is your husband romantic?

Oh goodness yes and with being romantic comes sensitive which can be a bit much at times. I certainly wouldn't trade him and his ways for anything though.

Re: Is your husband romantic?

My polar opposite husband is not romantic, and if he tried to be romantic, he would have to work so hard at it, it would be a comedy act in the making.  He's just not wired that way.  However, my redneck husband has so many other qualities I appreciate, he knows I wouldn't trade him for a newer romantic model.

Re: Is your husband romantic?

My husband is a kind gentle man....but no he would not think to warm a towel for me or the like.    I take care of him more that way....making sure he has a clean towel and wash cloth, changing his pillow cases, making sure he has his favorite treats in the house....

It it is just the way it is and I accepted it when I married him. I do not wish he would change.  I am lucky now.

The last thing I want from my husband is a greeting card or him listening for the shower and bringing me hot towels, that's a bit voyeuristic and makes me cringe. Are they unaware that towel warmers can be installed in their bathroom?

What I want is great in bed, my husband is that, great in bed. A hot husband trumps a hot towel every day of the week.

It would have been awesome if you could have called in next.  The audience would have had a good laugh.

My hubby is a lot of wonderful things, but romantic isn't one of them...I try to focus on those positives!!

Re: Is your husband romantic?

During our first year of marriage.....I set the table and added candles for a romantic atmosphere. He looked at me and said "How am I supposed to read the newspaper?"....LOL

He does thoughtful things for me...but he isn't romantic....

i was driving to the gym this morning and that was the question of the day. This one man called and said that he has heated a towel for after his wife's shower during the colder months for the last forty two years.he said that as soon as he hears the shower start he puts a towel in the dryer and gets it out as soon as he hears the water stop. What a sweet man.My DH says that stuff is just not him.He is a good husband in most ways but I really wish he was thoughtfully romantic once in awhile.

@dexSAhe has probly told him she's cold.  Men don't often realize we're cold unless the "goose bumps" are out or we're turning blue.  If they aren't uncomfortable,"why should we be"?!!

I do most of the grocery shopping but when DH goes, he always brings me something that I didn't ask for but is one of my favorites.
