Like any other group, you can't rightfully judge all by personal experience.
My RA doctor is wonderful. He's a kind and gentle man, very caring. In fact, when I was last in the hospital, he came to see me and saw me standing, trying to hold the back of my gown together. He was so nice about it and asked if he could tie it better for me, and so he did.
Then he said other patients of his liked to wear a second gown over the first, like a coat, would I like that. Of course I said yes, so he went and got another gown and helped me get into it.
I adore him so much, I go out of my way for office visits with him. He's also quite brilliant and highly regarded by the nurses. If you want to know who's a really good doctor, my experience has been to ask the nurses who have experience with them.
