Re: Is there a middle ground?

While I believe that a political thread would be a slippery slope, current events are very important to a lot of the posters here.

Electing a new President is an important consideration and there's gotta be a way to do this .....

Re: Is there a middle ground?

Hi Tink!    Yeah, I understand what you mean but when they did have that, afore-mentioned, current events forum here it was positively horrible.    I just don't think they want that on their retail site so they are attempting to make it what they consider a good fit for their brand.

Re: Is there a middle ground?

Unfortunately , the current attitude seems to be  my way or the highway . Moderate seems to be a dirty word . I spent one day on another board where there are very few rules, abd believe

me it's not pretty .

Re: Is there a middle ground?

The internet is huge, there are lots of places to discuss religion, politics and current events. None of those things are part of QVCs branding. And no I don't think that those topics provide any benefit to QVC sales.

Sometimes I think some people can make anything and everything political.

Hopefully, this won't fall into that category, but I want everyone to know the latest... The American middle class is no longer the biggest group.  The middle class is disappearing, and it's not rising to the top, it's going the other way.

We need to pull together to fix it.

To me ,it can get boring on here, i know some think it can get mean by people on here, i see only a little of that, but not able to disscuss some things, i find it can get boring, this is my thoughts and feeling.

I have never been bored in my whole adult life. Hospitalized for weeks at a time. My body was physically not right and limited what I could do. My brain however worked just.fine.  Bored? Not even close.

Hospitalized for over a week with mental illnesses which was a very rough period of time. But? My body was about as physically fit as it could ever be. Bored? Not even close.

Moral? If body is broke use ones brain to attack boredom. When the brain is having problems, a physically fit body can attack boredom.

Been around this Bulletin Board for going on 15 years now  and my "thoughts/feelings and experiences" here  obviously are and have been much different than yours.

Never heard anyone say, they have never been bored, in their lifetime.
