Is the Kindle Fire a good choice for ebooks?

HSN has one as a special of the day. I have a mini Ipad but should have gotten something with bigger print. I show print can be enlarged but then you loose space at the end of a line.

We have three Nooks and love them all, but I got a Kindle Paperwhite last month and it's terrific. I love the whole thing - the formatting, the look and feel - everything. It's so easy on the eyes and just the right weight/size to hold.
