Template kind of works but I think the word you're looking for is "format".

To me, if a company is going to offer a service be it free or subscription, they have the responsibility to maintain it.

Actually I didn't use the word template but I do admit I have trouble with techie words.

Yes, It's annoying, but there is no use complaining about it.  I log on and if it doesn't work I log off and go about my life.  I try again later and if it works - great!  If not, try again later.  If it bothers you so much then maybe it's time to stay away permanently

They were going to shut these down last year I think it was? They decided to keep the boards going. So, I'm just grateful when they are avail. and don't complain when they aren't. I just try to log in later and see if they are working.  No biggie!

I am on my laptop and for the first time in what 5 days it is working.

From my phone this AM it was working until I replied to a post and then it went wonky again and I forgot about it and moved on with my day.

It is a bit annoying but the work around makes it much less so. And I have to agree, we are not paying for the service and frankly having the folks here to monitor, remove and correct things DOES cost THEM $$$. I'm just appreciative to have the opportunity to know the other forum members. These relationships are worth something to me and I'm thankful to have them.

They made the announcement in October 2021 they were shutting down the boards then changed their minds.  I am sure at some point it will happen.

Of course the messed up forum is annoying and for some, even stressful, but acceptance involves recognizing that some situations are beyond your control.  And, bickering about it only adds unnecessary tension to an already stressful situation. 

Jumping to conculsions about the future of this forum isn't helpful either.  My mother used to say, "don't put the cart before the horse."  And she was right!   So, let's all take a breath and appreciate what we have here and, hopefully, things will all work out and return to normal soon.
