Better safe than sorry.

I also just heard on ABC news two additional issues. A bridal shop that Nurse Vinson visited while in Cleveland has closed.
A Yale University doctoral student returned home after a research trip to Liberia. He was not in contact with any ebola patients. He didn't feel well and has a low-grade fever. He is now in isolation as "an abundance of caution" while awaiting test results to be ready in 24 hours. Don't you think it's better to be careful?
A person presenting with a fever who spent time in an infected area is far, far cry from a bridal shop that the nurse supposedly visited. The two aren't even comparable.
Not if she was trying on dresses and then was diagnosed shortly thereafter.

Always best to be cautious and careful. The plane itself could have had germs lurking, especially in the bathrooms. The trays, too, if they weren't properly disinfected. We really will be in big trouble if this situation gets out of hand. Sorry to say. Mainly because folks just have to travel 'here and there' now-a-days. It's our 'way of life'. No such thing as keeping ourselves mildly isolated/safe anymore.

As my mother used to say: Better safe than sorry.

I wonder what the CDC would say. You know that govt entity that answers to the potus.

Even though I think many people are over-reacting, I have no problem with this extra precaution. Like brii mentions, kids are little Petri dishes of germs anyway.

Better safe than sorry. Too bad TPTB didn't go overboard with Duncan.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Yeah, maybe overboard...But if my Child was there?
