@roxxy1   These were wonderful photos.  I njoyed every single one.  The workers atop the Empire State bldg. and the Golden Gate bridge are extraordinary.  Most likely immigrant workers happy to have a job - no matter the danger involved.  Very important part of US History, helping to build our cities and landmarks.  I luv looking at photos that reflect back on our cultures and history, as well as entertainment.  I can't believe how ripped Walt Disney was!!  Look at those arms.

@roxxy1   That would have been me with my Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner I purchased from a door to door salesman.  Had that vacuum for so many years I lost count.   I honestly think it was the best I ever had.

@Lindsays Grandma  My mom keeps complaining, " I wish I still had my upright Hoover".

I sent her that pic, and told her now I know what to get you for Christmas !

@roxxy1   Thank you for the pictures - so interesting!  The ones of workers at great heights give me the willies; I don't know how they do that.

@roxxy1  Love the photos, especially the little bear cub hugging the man's leg.

But...I didn't know Indiana was a country.  Or was the Miss Universe contest that year held in Indiana in the US?
