Monica I got to the office here at 7:00 no rain just clouds. When I turned around and looked out one of the windows at 8:00 it was dark as night. Lots of thunder but no sirens here downtown. Looks to be lightening up quite a bil. At least enough I can look down and see actual cars and not just headlights. You and your pets stay safe. Bullard had a tornado come down last Friday I believe. Thank goodness it was only a F1.

I'm curious as to what you would do under the same situation. What do you think she should be doing while riding out the storm? I've had to ride out tornado warnings and the first thing I grab are my purse and phone, then sit in the basement. Until the warnings pass, I text with my kids to make sure everyone is safe. Texting and being online helps to keep your nerves in check under such a stressful time.

Personally, I think it's great she came here with us. I imagine it was somewhat comforting for her & her pups to not be "alone".

I hope everything is over by now & you are safe & sustained no damage.

There are 100,000 in the area right now without power. So far my only problem was the internet and landline telephone service for awhile. Monica may not have power right now but thank goodness she as her cell. It as gone back to almost black again outside.

@monicakm Stay safe indoors- any furniture or belongings outside can be tended to later when the tornado is long gone. Hang in there and keep us posted!

When we are under a tornado watch or warning I just keep doing what I'm doing. We don't have a shelter anyways. We would just jump in the tub & hope for the best if one was going to hit us.

Last time the tornado sirens went off we were in bed. We didn't jump out of bed?

If I have not had a shower yet when weather like this hits I take a shower. I watch TV or use my computer.

We don't do anything unless one is fixing to hit us.
