Re: If you were given a $1000 and could only use it on yourself…….

I'd probably put it towards a trip to the beach or new furniture.

Super frivolous idea - I wouldn't mind paying my hairdresser to wash, blow dry, & style my hair every other day.

Hmmmm...I already bought new golf clubs and while $1000 would make a good dent in that, it wouldn't come close to covering the full cost. I guess I'd probably put it towards upgrading my rental car from a SUV to a convertible on my next trip to the beach.

Injectables. Even though I hate needles and have never done any sort of procedure like that. I have aged so much from stress and just from years, and I hate how I look.

I would put it towards living room furniture.

@Greeneyedlady21   I had Juvederm a few years ago and really liked the results.  I also hate needles but my derm numbed me up well with ice and used a formulation that contains lidocaine.  That worked well for me.  I plan on doing it again in a few months.

What do you mean by only use it on yourself?  Does that exclude bills, household reapirs, etc?

@Abby1967

Great question .....

At the moment I can't think of one thing I would like to splurge with, but what I would really want to do is donate to a good organization that's working to save  endangered  species

It breaks my heart to think some creatures we have known might be gone forever some day very soon.

The endangered species I would donate this money for  .....   to save the Monarch Butterfly  ....   which means milkweed plants planted generously along their migration routes.

That would make me happier than any spa day.
