You would think, @noodleann. Apparently a lot of folks have a different mentality now. I get the feeling we are dealing with a lot of spoiled brats.

@happycat   Yes, yes, yes, spoiled adult brats that are used to getting whatever they want, whenever they want it.  It's crazy.  I was not raised that way.

@goldensrbest   The flu is not the same as Covid-19.  Not the same thing at all.

If we don't fight it and enough people refuse to vaccinate it could go on forever. We will be left behind to continue to suffer from Covid while the rest of the world passes us by.

They started getting antagonistic right away and then brought up New York. So it was inevitable they'd tank this thread too as usual.

Re: If they could do this . . .

What I do for myself and others:  Wear a cloth mask over my mouth and nose when within 6 feet of another person, Try to stay 6 feet away from other people, Sanitize my hands, clothes, and surfaces after coming into contact with what I see as possibly contaminated.

I order my groceries and other supples online and pick them up or have them delivered.

I prepare and eat my meals at home (This is not much of a sacrifice, I actually prefer my own cooking.)

The only people with a physical presence in my home are my husband and myself.

If this behavior is viewed as selfish, then I am.

And there you have a whole other issue to deal with---the vaccine. I'm one who'd NOT get it as I don't get the flu one either, for various reasons.
