I completely agree. Whenever I have had a problem CS has always helped. A compnany as large as the Q will always have a few problems. There are also people who find fault with all things. Treat CS the way you want to be treated.

I have never had a problem that QVC has not resolved for me.  That being said, I think they are slacking in the areas of Customer Returns, both with how they are processed, and how they are credited.

I think they need better training for their employees, better employees in general, and better quality control.

With their Christmas return policy extended until January 31 always bothers me as what do they do with some of those returns. I bought the Go Smile sonic care tooth brush for myself, suppose I achieve the whitest my teeth will go and I send it back, obviously they have to dispose of it, I would hope, so there is a loss for them or clothes and shoes worn up until the middle of January? Do they steam clean them and sell them 'as is'? Or a half bottle of Philosophy body wash.

I wonder do they donate the clothes and get to write off the rest? Always has been a big 'wonder' to me.

I learned from Shark Tank that it's the Vendor who has to absorb the cost of returns, not QVC.

I remember years ago watching Andrew Lessman on HSN and he commented that when any of his vitamins are returned, they are returned to him.

But I've often wondered how some of this works on HSN and QVC because QVC sells products under as-is that according to them, may be customer returns.  There are also people who buy pallettes of returns from the shopping channels and sell them on e-bay.

qvc still has pallet buying available.....or liquidation as they are calling it. i do buy some items from at least two ebay sellers that have tons of qvc/hsn stuff. you can find the link via the qvc homepage.

i know that the outlet stores are also frequented by resellers on ebay.

Thank you for that link!  Wow, the prices have really gone up and they state they are selling 3rd Quality items.... and I didn't realize that they still sold pallets!  I'm saving the link you offered but ouch expensive (average pallets back in the day were sold by general category and usually didn't  go over $1000 - $2,000 and often the majority were first rate items (that how long ago it was!).....

I have never had any problems with QVC's customer service. I think they run a good company.

My only complaint with QVC lately is the prices have gone through the roof and so my shopping is way down. I really think about it, before making any purchases. I am mostly disappointed in clothing prices. But I guess others don't agree, because people are still buying and their business is booming.

I have never had a major problem with QVC (except their website) but I don't dismiss or question problems that others have just because it hasnt happened to me.

On the old boards, some disbelieved complaints from people receiving used merchandise. At that point, I had never received a used product but I saw no reason for anyone to lie about it.  Then lo and behold, I received a dirty ring in a filthy box. That was when QVC still used those nice velvet boxes.  Both ring and box were obviously used.

I read some complaints about Sears here.  Yet I had stellar service when I needed a new microwave. I did the entire transaction by online chat. Charged it and arranged for store pickup. The rep even measured the product for me to make sure it would fit my car trunk.  And although my personal experience was good,  I do not doubt the problems some have had with Sears.

It's impossible to buy a top under $50 anymore, no matter how simple it is.  This is particularly true of SG and LOGO items.  You can still get a few things from D&Co for around $40, but even they are few and far between.  These items are worth approximately 30% less than their selling prices.

Just think, you buy two tops and have spent over $100 and then have to add S&H.  My daughters say you can buy five, sometimes more tops of the same quality at the big box stores for the same amount, and no S&H.

The thing I don't like about shopping in a store is the fact that so many individuals have tried them on, and when returned they go right back on the rack.  I have yet to buy a piece of clothing from the Q that isn't originally packaged.  Maybe I'm just lucky.  Fact still remains I don't buy much because of the price.
