From National Today.com

We celebrate Mario Day on March 10 each year, because March 10, written as “Mar10”, looks like Mario’s name. The friendly mustached Mario character was initially released by Nintendo in 1985 — doesn’t that make you feel old? Since then, Mario has appeared in around 200 different games, and the Mario games have claimed the title of the best selling video game series in history, beating out popular competitors, like Pokemon.

The new Mario movie comes out on 4/5/23. My 7 yo grandson is a huge Mario fan, he has at least 6 of the Mario characters, a comforter and pillow sham. He calls them his buddies.

Any grandparents out there helping to celebrate Mario Day ! Woman LOL

I still have three kids at home. They love the Mario games. I think the current favorites are on the Nintendo Switch.

At one time, I was pretty good at Mario Kart.  Woman LOL

Re: IT's NATIONAL MARIO DAY !

I'm a big Nintendo fan, so it's always Mario Day for me. (And Zelda, Link, etc.) I've preordered the sequel to Breath of the Wild and am counting down the days until it's released on May 12th. Breath of the Wild is my all time favorite game, so the sequel is a must have. Then Pikmin 4 comes out in July, so I've got a summer of entertainment lined up.  Super Mario Odyssey is an impressive and very creative game. You can't go too far wrong with Nintendo.

Fly!!! Eagles!!! Fly!!!
