I've never heard Ickspecially used.

I was in a box store a few years ago and I heard a couple of people talking. One said ""I toad him I was going to ..........."". I just laughed out loud to myself and said ""Toad??????"".

I also don't like shortening real words, like "nuke," "veggies," "fridge," etc. I guess I'm old fashioned and prefer to use the proper words as they were intended. Like some people don't like calling people their nicknames ${#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}$

I must confess I have used the terms ""veggies"" and ""chicky""----I think it came from when my kids were little. I would say------""eat your veggies/chicky""------I plead guilty.
