I am friends wtih a vendor who used to work with her. She told me months ago that Lisa is happy and left on her own volition.

One still can't have their contract renewed (meaning not being fired), but leave on their own free will. (because they didn't get what they wanted) A vendor is not going to say something bad about LR, because they are still with the Q. (and want to keep it that way) Lisa R. was a good host.

I didn't get the survey. I would have a problem answering questions about the hosts. It's not in my nature to say negative things about someone. I don't even complain about poor service in a restaurant or bad customer service. I would never want to be responsible for someone being fired or reprimanded. I guess I just suffer in silence!

They also had a place where you could decline to do this, and I chose that option

If someone does get dumped ,and I checked negative comments, I think it would bother me. I don't want to be involved in someone getting terminated

It's all about the money and nobody is indispensable. If CL's people are negotiating a contract and they want too much and won't budge, CL will be gone just like LR. Hosts who leave these shopping channels and think they will get something better, never do. IMO all they are is high paid shop girls who can act a little. AS is right when she calls the Q "our store".lol

I do think the hosts are overpaid. I don't think any host should make 500K a year, and it appears as if all the tenured and seasoned ones make more than that. Many physicians who went through 10 years of post graduate school don't even make that much money. But, good for them if they can get it. I highly doubt the survey had anything to do wtih wanting to dump Colleen. Perhaps it's to even give her even more money.

And, I certainly am not a member of LIsa R's "tribe", but I do think she left on her own volition. I bet she does regret her decision from time to time, but from the appearance of her website sales, she seems to be doing fine. I looked the other day and many items are sold out. The 2 items I have purchased from her are nice and were made in Italy.

I wouldn't have a problem answering truthfully about any host. I certaily would be honest. I'd also complain in a restaurant if I were given horrible service. My niece is like you are...she'd not say a word.

She'd just stew about it afterwards.
