Go to the luncheon and explain what happened. They will probably laugh.

 

I wouldn't wear a tiara again -- or a hat. They might think you're weird or you're trying to be the center of attention.

Princess D's husband was just "pulling her legs" about wearing a hat.  He's a keeper and seems like a lot of fun.

Don't give this whole thing a second thought.

 

They still want you come, so they must a good group.

 

Maybe have a contest and see who can top your tiara?
