I hope this does not mean you will be away from the trivia quiz also. As a 2-time total knee replacement patient, I can advise you to devote yourself to your rehab program. I took a pain pill an hour before each rehab appointment. Best of luck!

My mom is 81, and has an arthritic hip that bothers her a lot. She tells me that doctors will not put someone her age under anesthesia. Is this correct? Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Coincidentally, my boss's wife is also having a hip replacement tomorrow! I've heard that while there may be some temporary pain from the procedure, which will be managed by whatever they give you in the hospital, you should feel a huge difference shortly thereafter and will be happy that you had it done.
