I'll be off the boards for a while

Tomorrow I'll be having a hip replaced. At first, I was scheduled for a knee replacement, but the latest x-rays show that my left hip is also arthritic. So the hip tomorrow, and later on the knee.

I'll be in the hospital a few days. I might have to go to a rehab facility after that (I live in a second-story apartment, and have 14 steps to climb), but I'm hoping not.

Anyway, I'll be in another sphere. . .

OMG, I don't know how you are going to do those stairs!! Do you live with someone who can help you navigate them? I know I cannot do stairs without help. Thankfully, we have an elevator in this building.
