I'm going to try to get the thread removed. I'm concerned about getting people worked up from my mistake.

Not to worry wildcherry, I feel there is no location in the U.S. that is totally prepared for a real out break of this.

wildcherry: It might be the plane that was held in Las Vegas for a while but the person did not have ebola. Some sketchy news about it - it wasn't ebola so it's a story that hasn't grown in the news.

Maybe found knows more.

I've really got to stop reading this stuff. I'm going to wind up sterilizing everything in the house and now I'm afraid to order take-out or bring in the mail!{#emotions_dlg.blink}

LOL, I am right behind you, along with my mask and gloves on IF i ever decide to leave the house.

I don't think this is a problem of Dallas' at all.....rather it is a problem in that the CDC has not implemented procedures at hospitals all over the country, with strict instructions and guidelines that must be followed for all possible Ebola cases.

It's not the hospital's fault that the CDC didn't inform them and have enough guidelines in place, to help them deal with the Ebola guy that walked in the ER.

All this is on the CDC. They should have had guidelines in place a long time ago, so hospitals were READY for something like this.

Wasn't there some type of powder (years ago) that we had to be careful, when opening our mail? I recall using non-latex gloves. Or am I imagining that?

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I agree!

And I miss MJ too. Funny he is mentioned today, I was driving home yesterday and the local radio station played one of his songs. I havent heard anything of his music being played on air since his death.
