Hate heat, hate sun, and live in what we call the Valley of the Sun. But we are having cooler weather right now, relatively speaking of course. Only 93 at the moment, but dewpoint is 66 so it's pretty sticky out. I've loved snow every since I first saw and felt it at about 8 months old. I've never lived in a place with excessive snow and maybe I would tire of it, but living indoors in a virtual hermetically sealed house for what seems like endless months, always being attuned to any weird sound coming from the a/c, or even being hot in a car with the a/c blowing as cold as you can get it, is a challenge for some of us.

Gratitude check: At least I have a house and a/c! And it's not expected to get much above 101 for the next 10 days and into the 80's at night. It could be worse!

I think it's going to be a high of 95 today. San Francisco is only in the 60's. I always forget to take a jacket when we go there during the Summer months, I mean who thinks of jackets in summer. Well QVC does LoL

@Grand Happy You brought back a memory. When I lived out there we could always tell tourists because most had SF sweatshirts on that they had to buy because they were freezing. Bay area was alwayss cool at night.

My ideal would be one month total of summer. Two months of spring, two months of winter and seven months of fall. Bring on the pumpkins.

I'm in NYC and it is hot and humid with it getting worse as the week goes on. Temps will be in the upper 90's and with the humidity, will feel like over 100 degrees. Do not like summer, and can't deal with the heat especially as I get older. Love the fall!

I was born in Miami, lived in Texas, Md. NJ....hated the cold and really hated the snow. Asked DH if he could get a transfer back to Fl. and we came back to my loved Fl. I do not mind a slight chill but that is it. Hotter the better for me.
