What an accomplishment!  Having a daughter who is a nurse and watching her study, I can say without a doubt.  It is no easy feat. I bet you feel like a brick building has been lifted from your body!!  The state boards are scary, but the worst is over.

Congratulations @bikerbabe & welcome to the profession!  Nursing will present many challenges but also many rewards.   As someone else here said, there is a reason for the tee shirt " I survived nursing school".  Anyone that has survived it understands, lol.  Have a great time reading a book for pleasure, watching TV, or whatever else you choose to do with your personal time now.  So go complete that NCLEX and then get out there and take the world by its tails!  BTW, I am an ole critical care nurse.  It is an incredibly wonderful area of nursing.  Especially if you are an adrenaline junky!

My advice for the NCLEX:

Take your time.  Read each question slowly, then read it again.  And again.  Do not be alarmed if the first question you see bears no resemblance to anything you may have studied in school.

Again, go slow.

I staggered out of there, convinced I failed the thing, but I ended up in the "75 Club."  Like I said, be aware of what the question is really asking.
