I watch QVC and HSN.
I've watched since the 80's. A long time.
I find myself turning the sound off and just watching the presentation if it's something I'm interested in.
There is too much yelling and talking fast esp when the vendor and the host are on together.
Case in point tonight watching Doris Dalton and Sarah present the TS on HSN. It isn't relaxing anymore and I would like to relax and enjoy the show.
I am finding this happens more and more and I guess I've been here too long. Not half as often as I used to.
It's like a fight to see who can speak the loudest and the most.

@luvmyteddy4. I completely agree. Sarah has always been soft-spoken and enjoyable to watch but a couple nights ago she was screaming like a banshee. I was astounded.
I almost never watch HSN or QVC with 5he sound on. There's too much nonsense in which I'm not interested, and little useful information is given since vendors aren't allowed to talk. I'm buying less and less.

Sarah's mic was muffled last night behind her top and for 2 hours we couldn't hear underwater that well. lol
Do you think her producer could have fixed it. Nope and we complained a lot on fb.

@luvmyteddy4, it isn't just QVC and HSN. I don't remember which morning "talk" show I had on this morning and there were 4 people cross talking at the same time. I'm finding that people cross talking is becoming commonplace.
I don't know about others but on a really good day I can nearly follow two speakers at time but I shouldn't have to listen to more than one speaker at a time.

The hosts have changed so much that it is so unbearable to watch any more! 😞

@luvmyteddy4 I was watching a tiramisu presentation yesterday and I was getting so annoyed watching them scrape the fork against the Tiramisu over and over and over without eating it- I even yelled out at the TV "Just eat the **** tiramisu already!!!"
I think the prodding at the cake really annoys me for some reason- its like they're taunting the viewer and I hate it when people play with their desserts. I was so annoyed that I had to change the channel. Just eat the cake, host and co host! Take a big bite!! Do it! Be a normal person next to a delicious piece of cake ![]()
I hate the loud laughing and yelling during wine presentations- and the fake laughs and the swirling of the glasses. For the most part, I love QVC, but some repetitive gestures do get annoying sometimes. ![]()

I really hate when they mash the food and esp chocolate candy when they pull it apart so the filling squeezes out. I lose my appetite at that point.

@luvmyteddy4 I hate it when they mash candy- they were presenting zolli pops chocolate coated caramels the other night and kept smashing the caramels in their hands and it was grossing me out. I just want them to eat it and describe it, not feel it up with their fork and ruin it
. Oh, and another thing that frustrated me was when they presented a "cheesesteak sandwich" during a Rostelli's steak presentation by putting way too thick cut steak slabs into a cheap hot dog bun and putting shredded cold cheddar cheese on top of it
- I almost lost my mind at them having the nerve to call THAT a cheesesteak sandwich ![]()

It's much better for your psyche if you AVOID unpleasant situations.
