@DiAnne I do that too and you will be surprised how quickly your 200 numbers fills up.  You can block and block and they just change numbers.  We never answer a call we don't recognize and they just keep calling anyway. (Am talking about the land line)  I keep blocking because I want to and will take the time to do so.

@Jk9

I imagine it will fill up quickly.  I am currently only getting about 1-2 calls a day.  I don't answer a number I don't recognize either but if I am not sure I wait to see if they leave message before I block them.

Sadly, my carrier does not support this.  And this is my landline.  :-(

No.  I picked the one that is free.

No.  I picked the one that is free.  You have to have a digital voice landline with a carrier like.....Verizon, etc.  Just a plain old phone (land line) it won't support.

Re: I finally registered on with nomorobo.com

I remember reading an article about spam calls that weren't done away with by the National Do Not Call registry.   They can only stop calls originating in the United States, if I recall correctly.  The problem was that more calls were being initiated from other countries (Mexico a big source) via the internet, so we still can get those nuisances.

It's always something .....

@songbird , it's good that you found a free program.  I don't see the point of paying for someone not to call you because that's exactly what a person is doing if they're charged a monthly fee.

I just don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. I could let the phone ring all day without answering; doesn't bother me at all.
